Essentials to pack
Please make sure you have your bag well packed for the China trip!
This is what we are recommending:
a bag easy to carry (backpack) - we are travelling at least 5 cities
a small bag for daytrip essentials
comfortable shoes (lots to walk in cities)
hiking boots or comparable (great wall walk)
clothing for a climate like in vienna, but also for hot days in Hong Kong
Raincoat
Jugendherbergsschlafsack cotton or silk(that¥s never bad)
if you need: your medication
Power adapter for china (if you need power for digital cameras)
Video Cameras (if get get one somewhere, lets get as much footage as possible)
Drawing board and draftbook / Pencils and whatever you need
Groups should have one student bringing a laptop to download pictures from the digital cameras.
Don¥t pack any knives, scissors and so on in your carry on luggage. (airport security)
We will take care of:
First aid and basic medication
Things you better forget at home:
Cellphones
Valuable Jewelleries etc.
Heavy luggage
