09. November 2017
On Saturday, 27 January
2018, Vienna's City Hall will be turned once again into a festive venue for the city's science and research community.
In a city renowned for its 450 spectacular events during the annual ball season, the Vienna Ball of Sciences
combines exciting entertainment with an academic attitude.
The prices for the classic tickets are
€ 90 and € 25 for students. Also on offer this year are boxes and tables in the grand ballroom and, at reduced fares, tables
in the adjacent rooms. Tickets are available from November 13 at
http://www.wissenschaftsball.at/shop/.
We also offer the "Be my Guest" ticket for € 110. With this, guests can fund the admission of an additional person. The ball
committee will distribute the extra tickets to any student wishing to attend the ball who are unable to purchase a ticket.
The Vienna Ball of Sciences represents Vienna's science and research community in its excellence and diversity. Typical
elements of a Viennese Ball are combined with contributions from Vienna's universities highlighting our outstanding academic
community.
Last year we welcomed 2,800 guests and gained more then 1,4 million contacts in social media.
In February Nature wrote: The Vienna Ball of Sciences „is a clever attempt to associate a big city's science base with its
most distinguished cultural characteristics. And the sold-out event was ample proof that the organizers had hit a nerve."
So we once again ask you to come and join the scientifically-proven fun!

ball as well as the program please see
