No matter what it is, but it matters what it could be

An exhibition by Roland Reiter, a lecturer in the TransArts department at the University of Applied Arts.
Roland Reiter presents works from his new series at the studio of the Neue Galerie Graz. His starting point is industrial products, which the artist has reshaped and combined with disparate materials. Here the industrial meets the organic, the technoid meets the
animal and the artificial meets the natural. Reiter blends the minimalist and conceptual art practices of the post-war avant-garde with the glamour of Pop culture and the bling of the millennial generation against the backdrop of current discourse on post-humanism.
