The Artist Collective KRIEGSBILDER is pleased to invite you to a special screening of the documentary This Rain Will
Never Stop (2020) by Ukrainian director Alina Gorlova. This event is organized in collaboration with the department of Applied
Photography and Time-Based Media.
Following the screening, we are
honored to host Alina Gorlova for a live Q&A session via Zoom, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the director
and gain deeper insights into the film.
"This Rain Will Never Stop" takes viewers on a visually stunning journey
through the endless cycle of war and peace. The film follows 20-year-old Andriy Suleiman as he navigates the challenges of
building a sustainable future while working with victims of armed conflict. From the war in Syria to the war in Ukraine, Andriy’s
life is a testament to the perpetual flow of life and death.
